3rd Grade Teacher
Phone: x105

My name is Carole Zanardi, and I am a 3rd teacher at the best school ever! I graduated with my Elementary Education (grades 1-6) degree, Kindergarten Licensure, and Coaching Certificate from St. Scholastica in 1995. In 2010, I received my master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia in St. Paul. I have been at Holy Rosary since 1994 when I did my student teaching under Suzy Wagness and then the following year I was hired as a long term substitute in 2nd grade. After teaching 2nd grade for 1 ½ years, I taught 5th grade for 14 years and I am in my 6th year in 3rd grade. I also coached girls varsity basketball in the area for 19 years and recently “retired” to have more time for myself. After living in 5 Midwest states by the time I was 12, my mom, dad, and I made a permanent home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. After attending college in the beautiful city of Duluth, I knew this is where I wanted to remain. I am happy to be at Holy Rosary surrounded by wonderful teachers, parents, and students. I wake up each morning thanking God for what he has blessed me with and live by this quote from John Wooden, “Make each day your masterpiece.”
