Mr. Jesse Murrary
Being the principal of Holy Rosary school, I start each day with students (and parents) entering our school with smiles, hello's and high fives. Prayer to launch the day (after an intense game of kickball or tag in the gym) focuses our minds and hearts on Christ and the great things we will do during the day.
This is my 11th year at Holy Rosary School. I have been in Catholic school education beginning in kindergarten at St. Augustine's elementary School in Austin, MN, Queen of Angels Middle School and Pacelli High School. Little did anyone know (especially some of my teachers) that I would follow the vocation of Catholic School educator/principal. I graduated from St. Mary's University in Winona, MN with a degree in biological research. The charisma of the Christian Brothers influenced my decision to teach at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles and assist in the start up of a Catholic middle school in Browning, Mt. I completed my Masters of Arts in Instruction from St. Mary's University and returned to California to teach at St. Francis High School with the Brothers of the Holy Cross.
I have a wonderful family that supports my spirit and my work. My wife is a Duluth native and a HRS middle school graduate '89. Our three children are energetic, full of life and love. All three attend Holy Rosary School. We love Duluth, the lake, the trails, the hills, the rivers and the snow! God has blessed us in so many ways.
