Home & School Association
The school's Home and School Association is comprised of parents, faculty, and staff. The Home and School Association executive board meets on a monthly basis. General meetings are scheduled throughout the school year.
The association serves the school by coordinating parent communication, volunteer programs, special activities for the students, working on fundraising events (conjunction with the school's development director), and social events for community building.
Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers assist teachers during the school school day or at home. Through the Home and School Association, parent volunteers help with various activities. Parents are given an opportunity to sign up for a great variety of volunteer services, including sports, library, development, school office work and many others. Parent volunteers can sign up to be "room parents" for a class. Room parents help coordinate activities which the class and teachers plans throughout the school year and are assigned yearly through a sub-committee of the Home and School Association. Without this generous support, many of the programs and experiences for the students would not be available.
