Does HRS offer financial assistance?
Yes. Annually, tuition assistance is available and utilized by 12% of our families through a confidential application process. $35,000 was distributed for the 2006-07 school year. Please refer to the Tuition Assistance link for an application and further details.
What is the age requirement for Kindergarten?
A child must be five years old by September 1 of the year of kindergarten entry.
What is a typical class size?
Classes at Holy Rosary average 18-20 students in the elementary grades and can range up to 29 in Middle School.
Is bussing provided to and from school?
Bus transportation is provided at no cost to students that meet eligibility and boundary requirements determined by Duluth Independent Public School District 709.

Is an after school program available?
Yes, the FAST (Fun After School Time) Program is available from 2:30-5:30 PM daily when school is in session for students in Kindergarten through grade eight. The supervised program offers time for both study, homework and play.
