Holy Rosary Parish Endowment Fund
The Holy Rosary Parish Endowment Fund was created in 1994. All of the school and Cathedral's endowment funds were placed in one account with designated sub accounts. Articles and bylaws have been written, along with the development of procedures and policies. The overall goal of the Holy Rosary Parish Endowment Fund is to increase the endowment of Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral. The Board of Directors of the Holy Rosary Parish Endowment Fund selected Wells Fargo Bank's Trust Department as its investment advisor. A marketing and development plan has been written.
The Endowment Board consists of the Pastor, Principal, and a member of the Parish Finance Council with up to seven at large parish members.
Holy Rosary School has a small endowment fund. Gifts are added to it annually, primarily through memorials. To become a truly effective endowment, a planned giving program needs to be implemented. It is essential to increase the value of the fund.
