Middle School
Holy Rosary Middle School begins in 6th grade as students from Holy Rosary elementary school, St. Michael's Lakeside School, and St. John the Evangelist Catholic School continue their Catholic education. Holy Rosary Middle School is a member of the Duluth Area Catholic Schools, providing opportunities for our middle school students to actively live their lives, understanding their relationship with God and how that permeates their relationship with their parents, family, friends, school, parish, and greater community.
Holy Rosary Middle School challenges our students socially, emotionally, academically, spiritually and physically during a time in their lives where guidance and direction are crucial. The following goals and objectives guide our partnership with parents as we prepare students for graduation.
- To be aware of the individual needs of each student - intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual
- To stress gospel values in daily living, especially in decision-making situations.
- To provide a Christian and caring environment.
- To make prayer and worship an integral part of the day
- To develop academic programs and curriculum that serve the varied needs of all students.
- To provide opportunities for students to practice self-discipline and personal responsibility.
- To encourage parent participation and involvement in the educational process.
- To inspire a concern for justice and peace in our world.
