Class of 2012 Learns About Giving Holy Rosary's 8th grade class has embarked on a new cross-curricular assignment focused on learning about giving. Forty-five students are researching local non-profit organizations, making personal contacts and conducting site visits to shadow an employee. They will compile their experience and present their findings to their classmates to better understand the opportunities to help others, to share their gifts and talents and how to match their interests as both volunteers and donors. The students' work will also be used when the school gives back to the community through its mission collections.
